Operations Technician at Fortifications Agency

Your Everyday Work – Operation and Maintenance of Important Defense Properties

You will work in Muskö in Haninge municipality and become part of our team consisting of 15 operations and property technicians. Since one of our operations technicians has moved on to another position within the Fortifications Agency, we now need to recruit a new colleague. The mission is to ensure the operation of the facility in all situations. The main work is carried out during the day with a focus on supervision, maintenance, and corrective actions, as well as performing self-checks. There is also an emergency response group of six people within the operations team who have many years of experience. Emergency placement may also be relevant for this position.

We are now looking for an operations technician who will be responsible for our maintenance within electrical systems, which means you need to have experience working as an electrician/industrial electrician as well as other supervision and maintenance tasks. In this role, you will work independently, and we are looking for a colleague who wants to develop. We offer good opportunities for professional development and training. Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has at least completed high school or vocational training as an electrician, or another education we consider equivalent. You should have worked as an electrician/industrial electrician, and we want you to have several years of experience as an operations technician, property technician, or service technician. You have good knowledge of administrative IT support systems and you communicate and express yourself well both orally and in writing in Swedish. A driver's license at least class B is a requirement, and you must be a Swedish citizen.

Experience working with property support systems is an advantage. If you have worked with improvement work and have experience in any of the areas of automation, networks, PLC, ventilation, plumbing, or large kitchens, that is also an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have worked with fortification facilities.

We prefer that you are a person with an interest and feel for technology and function and are solution-oriented.
